i cant be bothered with this shit anymore.

a while ago i said i wasn't going to bring back squarebracket, the website said "there are no intentions of bringing it back", but my close online friends lately have wanted me to bring back squarebracket again.

after a year of this website being up, ive finally found a design i really like. its basic, simple, and doesnt bother looking modern. because honestly what's the point with looking modern?

yeah honestly ill finally come forward and say that squarebracket (formerly poktube and cheeserox) is dead. like actually dead. yeah im aware ive said this many times in the past but this time i really mean it. my current situation irl doesn't let me work on the site anymore and tbh i feel better that way. i did think about reworking squarebracket with a focus on social media rather than videos/images but honestly it wouldve ended up as a shitty dime-a-dozen twitter/"x" clone.

apparently word is going around in the sims community that the original 2 games are getting rereleased? which is wild.

ill be honest, i dont have any plans for it. squarebracket made sense during a time where i still made videos. but i dont really make videos like i used to anymore. i stopped making those in like the start of 2024. my most popular videos that year were actually ai slop trying to capitalize on some random typek shitpost that went somewhat viral.
